You have to go through several clues in each part of the game, before the timeout expires. If you hit the red shield on the road, the time is over, so take great care of it. However, there is also a green and positive shield with which you can accelerate. Grab all the yellow rings and get to a higher level. You need to beat time. The game constantly invites you so you need to know how to do it.
